Cajun restaurant Bayou La Seine

The good times roll Saturdays and Sundays in our upstairs restaurant ... try our Classic American or Cajun Brunches!

For centuries, the city of Paris has been a magical place where romance flourishes, where the arts command a prominent place, and where history was made. New York is the city where all is possible, where dreams come true; and Louisiana, that curious bridge between France and the United States, is where "the good times roll".

Whether you're a tourist or resident, our culinary synthesis of the best of these three "states of soul" will certainly pique your interest and please your taste buds. We've recently combined our two locales into one - in our original space, located at 20 Rue Saint Paul, tucked in among antique and curiosity shops, we now serve authentic Saturday and Sunday brunch in our upstairs restaurant.

Cajun restaurant Bayou La SeineFollow the trail up to the little room above the store. Our brunch menu includes classic American pancakes - three varieties - as well as New York staples such as Eggs Benedict and Bagels and Lox, and Louisiana specialties such as Cajun Boudin Blanc, Jambalaya, and our signature Eggs Bayou (artichoke hearts filled with Crawfish Etouffée, topped with poached eggs blanketed with a pernod-spiked Hollandaise sauce, and accompanied by Jambalaya), as well as mostly Acadian specials which change weekly.

Everything, including desserts, is made in-house from our own recipes and is cooked to order.

Open Saturday from noon-2:30, and Sunday from 11- 3:30. Reservations recommended.

Our former dinner menu, or other dining options, is still available for groups of fifteen to twenty-two in our restaurant, as we offer private dining evenings or weekday afternoons upon advance reservation.
