CAJUN RESTAURANT "BAYOU LA SEINE"You're not in Paris to eat American
Surprise yourself ...there exists a regional American cuisine that stands up to any other world cuisine (see reviews). Oysters Rockefeller, Filé Gumbo, Crawfish Boil, Barbecue Shrimp, Jambalaya... the classical Cajun and Creole cooking of Louisiana.
In a typical Marais setting, a French-American couple have collaborated to recreate authentic Louisiana recipes with a twist. Traditional Filé Gumbo, for instance, with crispy duck confit and oysters from Normandy; or Cajun Matriochka, a take-off on Turducken; here, turkey breast stuffed with duck stuffed with Burgundy-poached figs and sliced into medallions resembling the nesting Russian dolls.
Open for lunch and dinner Wednesday thru Saturday. Try our cajun brunch on Saturday or traditional brunch on Sunday. Closed Sunday evening, Monday and Tuesday, the first two weeks of August, the last week of December and one week in May.
