Le Pavillon Hotel
A palace of a hotel in central New Orleans, whose staff and services makes you feel as though it's your palace. Beautiful yet comfortable rooms, a wonderful restaurant featuring perhaps the best lunch-deal in New Orleans, and a short stroll to the French Quarter or to the St Charles streetcar line.
Soniat House
A small, lovely hotel built around a tree shaded courtyard where you can breakfast on warm, homemade biscuits or enjoy afternoon cocktails, these antique-decorated rooms and suites are an intimate glimpse of life in the French Quarter.
Bayou Cabins
Rocky and Lisa Sonnier have transported original "camp" cabins to their property on Bayou Teche, and have renovated them thematically. Suprisingly comfortable to us city-folk and a real foray into Cajun life. (If you like cats, look no further...) There's a small restaurant on the grounds serving Rocky's famous Boudin and Cracklins' as well as other Cajun dishes, which is frequented by locals as well as cabin guests. Cajun French spoken (as well as English).
